e and exponential function, logarithm as a function and its graphical representation– Solve some simple problems. - Partial Fractions: Rational, proper, and improper fractions of polynomials.
- Matrices and Determinants: Definition of the matrix, types of matrices – examples, algebra of matrices – equality of two matrices, sum, difference, scalar multiplication, and product of matrices. Transpose of a Matrix Symmetric, Skew symmetric matrices – Minor, cofactor of an element – Determinant of a square matrix
