 TNPSC  Librarian Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification:

Grade Wise educational qualifications are as follows.

Librarian Grade-I:-

• Degree in Arts or Science or Commerce
• Degree in Library Science with Experience.

Librarian and Film Librarian (Agriculture):-

• Degree and B.Lib Science Degree with experience.

Librarian and Information Assistant:-

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science.

Librarian (Legislative Assembly):-

• Degree in Library and Information Science.

Age Limit:

As per the Tamilnadu govt rules only the age relaxation is applicable to the candidates. Coming to the age limit they did not specify the required age limit. So for more details, you can view the official notification.

Selection Methods:

Applicants will be hired based on the two stages i.e written test and the interview.
