EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The WBPSC Accountant Recruitment Notification education qualifications are given below:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Commerce from a recognized University.
• Elementary knowledge in computer operation and computer typing from a registered and reputed
  Institute for not less than 6(six) months.
• Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in case of Nepali speaking candidates from
  hill areas of the State)

AGE LIMIT

• Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years.
• Maximum Age Limits: 39 Years  as on 01.01.2019 (i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January 1979)

Age relaxation is also applicable for the reserved category candidates:

• For S.C and S.T category candidates age relaxation is 5 Years.
• BC category candidates age relaxation is 3 Years.
• PWD category applicants age limit is 45 Years.
• No age relaxation for general category applicants.
